ProDoctivity puts managed information in the work environment in real-time. Everyone draws the information - instantly - from the same source. The systems’ built in revision control and source version linking assures all personnel will be working to the right blueprint, using the correct assembly instructions, and downloading the current CNC program. The KEY - Open connectivity
Within minutes of completing the install, you can have all the routing information, bill of materials, and job scheduling information on line. Weather you use an SQL or an Xbase database the connection to your existing data is as simple as pointing and clicking a button. ProDoctivity will let you join up to twenty (20) different databases to make them look like one. Pull the Job number from the scheduling database, pull revision number from the engineering document control database, pull the router information from you MRP database ............. pull the BOM from the inventory control data base ....... etc.

The GUI - Graphic User Interface makes it simple.
The fear many have is the amount of work a system such as this takes to implement. As we developed ProDocTivity we followed the philosophy "Keep It Simple". From the easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI) to the powerful Smart Forms and auto tool sheet generator ProDocTivity will not tax your resources. How you say? ProdDocTivity does much of the work for you. Once you have designed your graphic tool sheet ProDocTivity automatically fills it in when a tool is selected. Process sheets will automatically fill in the header information and selected fields will be filled with information which is pulled from various databases. When changes must be made "Views" of blue prints placed in the process sheets are automatically updated and the revision control system assigns a new revision letter for the document and records the time date user ID and the reason the change has occurred.

"CIMplicity" means - You don’t have to change the way you work.

CAD & CAM files may be accessed with pointers, this means your current CAD & CAM directory structure remains the same and duplicate files do not need to be created. ProDocTivity is also smart enough to auto recognize the file format you want to view. We support AutoCAD DWG, Hewlett Packard HPGL plot files, CALS raster (for you hand drawn prints), DXF, CADKey drawing files and IGES. Our document control system auto checks for currency. We also allow multiple CNC programs to be linked to one operation and auto load the G-code into ProDocTivity’s powerful integrated DNC system.

The part drawing you’ll be viewing will always be the latest revision. A bold message will alert you should the drawing go on "engineering hold." You’ll even know who made the change and when it happened.

High-resolution "views" from part drawings are graphically displayed. At the push of a button, an electronic card file instantly inserts pictures of tooling, gauging, etc. It’s complete, including an entire set of drawing tools.
